Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion from IIM Calcutta on successfully completing all evaluation components with minimum pass grades in the respective evaluation components and having a minimum attendance of 66%. How to apply for a student loan?
STEP 1: You must complete the

Receive an email from the educational institution confirming your selection for the programme
STEP 2: You must complete the loan application form available at the below mentioned URLs
If you need assistance in filling out the loan application form please email Emeritus at info@emeritus.org mentioning the name of the programme you are interested in.
STEP 3: An agent from the loan provider will call, email or visit you and assist you with your loan application. Loan approvals take varying amounts of time. You can discuss how long it would take with the agent who speaks to you.

Approving of a loan is a decision made exclusively by the loan provider. The loan provider may decline your loan application.

Your loan provider will transfer the loan amounts directly to Emeritus as required under the arrangement that the loan provider has with Emeritus.
On specific request by the loan provider, Emeritus may inform the loan provider about your employment status, the programme fees, the programme duration and your attendance information on the programme.
Failure to obtain a loan by you cannot be a reason to seek delayed payment schedule from Emeritus and the grant of admission may be withdrawn, if payments are not made by the student as per the listed payment schedule.
PROF. ASHOK BANERJEE
Professor, Finance and Control
Prof. Ashok Banerjee joined the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, as a Professor (Finance and Control) in August 2004. Before joining IIM Calcutta, he was a professor at IIM Lucknow. He was the Dean (New Initiatives and External Relations) of IIM Calcutta during 2012-2015. He is a Postgraduate in Commerce from the University of Calcutta, a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds a PhD. Prof. Banerjee, during his tenure as Dean, was instrumental in setting up an Incubator at IIM Calcutta called IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, which is duly recognised by the Department of Science & Technology (DST) as a Technology Business Incubator.
Prof. Banerjee teaches Corporate Finance in the first year and Corporate Restructuring, Trading Strategies and Business Valuation in the second year of the MBA Programme at IIM Calcutta. He also teaches Empirical Finance and Corporate Finance in the PhD programme. Prof. Banerjee was the founder-coordinator of the Financial Research and Trading Laboratory of IIM Calcutta. He was instrumental in starting the International Finance Conference in 2009 at IIM Calcutta. The conference is now rechristened as India Finance Conference and is organised jointly by IIM Calcutta, IIM Bangalore and IIM Ahmedabad.
His current areas of research include high-frequency finance and sentiment analysis. Prof. Banerjee studies the behaviour of algorithmic traders in the intraday market. He is particularly interested in the role of proprietary algorithmic traders in supporting market quality. In the sentiment analysis domain, he uses text from corporate filings and electronic media to estimate the default probability of corporate borrowers. He is presently working on directional prediction of inflation using news. Prof. Banerjee serves as an independent director on the Boards of companies in the financial and technology sectors.

Professor Kaushik Roy is a member of the strategic management group of IIM Calcutta. He teaches Strategic Management, Strategies in High-velocity Environments, and Coopetition in the flagship MBA programme, Strategy Content Research in the doctoral programme, and Vision to Execution in the PGPEX-VLM (amongst others). He has anchored training programmes for some of India's largest public- and private-sector enterprises. His research lies at the fascinating intersection of competitive strategies (dynamic capabilities) and hybrids ( joint ventures). Specifically, he is imbued to examine the manner in which certain firms outperform others in rapidly changing and unforgiving environments. An alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad, he has worked with Tata Teleservices (Strategic Cell) and Tata AIG Life (Head Office Operations) prior to joining IIM Calcutta.
